Lull telehandlers have been in production ever since nineteen fifty nine. They specialize in load placement. For more accurate placement capabilities, their patented Stabil-Trak stability system provides much more precise placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers provide a large variety of optional attachments and these telehandlers can really help you complete your needs, while being safe and efficient at the worksite. If precision and accuracy are a must, leave it to a Lull telehandler to complete everything you require.
The Future
To be able to make rough terrain forklifts as efficient as possible, many attachments have been engineered and developed such as booms, winches, and rotating fork carriages, to allow the forklift to place materials more accurately. The booms or articulating booms come with 2 different extendible arms and could reach up and over structures in order to place loads in the center of upper floors or on interior roof slope settings. New products and attachments are being designed and made all the time and will be available in the future.
With extra safety features becoming more prevalent, some improvements have been made. Like for instance, load-reach management devices are able to restrict the forklift's reach automatically, based on the load being handled rather than depending on the operator. Pressure sensors are used in order\to be able to know the weight of the load. This information is sent to a small electronic memory device that had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
The boom's memory will compare the angle and the extension of the boom with the safety limits, once the load is being placed into position. There is a warning system or an important lock-up device that prevents the operator from over-reaching and potentially causing the forklift to tip over or the boom to fail.
The Walkie-Rider, Walkie or Rider is a Motorized Pallet Truck that is basically a motorized version of a pallet jack. They come in both "Rider" versions and "Walkie" models.
The walkie model as the name implies, is made to allow the operator to walk alongside the machine while they pick up and transport cargo. The operator stands on a small platform on the Rider model. The rider models are ideal for frequent transporting of loads over extended distances in warehouses and manufacturing operations. They are extremely fast and maneuverable.
It is not recommended to lift and transport unstable or tall loads because there are no safety cages on these models. A rider can be the perfect answer if you are searching for an inexpensive method for moving cargo from point A to point B. If though, you must transport heavy loads short distances, and prefer to use a more employee-friendly unit instead of a pallet jack, the walkie model can be the right option.
Order Selector
An Order Selector also goes by the name of Order picker. This machinery is particularly made for manual handling of less-than-pallet-load quantities in racking. There are fixed forks connected to a platform in the Man-up design. This particular platform elevates both the operator and the load in order to facilitate manual unloading and loading from racking areas.
Normally, the order selector is a very narrow aisle vehicle that can function in smaller aisles. They are extremely useful pieces of machinery during cycle counting situations as well as in physical inventories. Order selectors are available in lift heights up to 40 feet high, although models that range in the twenty to 30 foot range are much more common.
